Central Training UK are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. If Learners or any of our customers wish to raise any issue relating to Child Protection or safeguarding, there are a number of avenues that they can follow. Your employer is responsible for implementing Safeguarding procedures which follow legislation with regard to safeguarding young people. Alternatively, if Learners do not feel comfortable approaching a member of staff at their workplace, they can also discuss any concerns with the Central Training UK staff who will visit your place of work on a regular basis. Any issues brought to the attention of Central Training UK staff will be treated seriously and referred through the appropriate investigation channels. Central Training UK is committed to the welfare of all Learners and recognises that a number of personal problems may arise during their time on the NVQ programme or beyond. these may be in relation to sexual health, drug and alcohol abuse, gambling problems, financial issues or simply adjusting to the workload that a full time Learner away from home has to cope with. Central Training UK is therefore dedicated to Learner well being and we would encourage Learners and employers to contact a member of staff with any concerns. Learners will receive guidance on Safeguarding & Best Practice as part of their NVQ induction. This will raise awareness of issues related to wider safeguarding agenda and will provide Learners with a basic knowledge and understanding of protecting themselves and other young people from harm or abuse.
