Central Skills is a division of Central Training that offers a wide range of vocational training programmes in Catering and Hospitality, Construction, Sport and Active Leisure, Business Administration, Hair and Beauty and Land-based industries. We have a range of highly flexible courses available for learners who are aged 14 and above.
We work closely with schools to provide a range of training and work experience opportunities for learners wishing to follow a more vocational approach to education. We provide access to vocational programmes for learners who are aged 14-16 including Foundation Learning Programmes and our new Apprenticeship Ready programme.
Central Skills also delivers training programmes specifically designed for young people aged 16-19 years who are not at school or college, and not currently in employment or undertaking any formal training. With Central Skills' support, learners will develop the skills and competencies that employers require, achieve industry recognised qualifications and get the chance to enjoy a brighter future.
Our dedicated and experienced advisors and tutors are on hand to help young people and adults to choose the right programme of training, progress on to the job ladder, gain an Apprenticeship or go on to study for higher qualifications.
