Equality of Opportunity
Central Training is fully committed to a policy of Equality of Opportunity. We aim to ensure that staff at all levels work in an environment free from any discrimination on the grounds of race or ethnic origin, gender, religion or belief, disability, sexual orientation or age. We have a wide range of policies and procedures to support both learners and employers who are involved in training and will seek to ensure that learners do not suffer any form of discrimination and that they are supported to understand their rights and responsibilities over the duration of the programme.

Learner responsibility
Learners are expected to treat everyone they meet with respect and to approach the training programme in a positive manner. Central Training will discuss equality issues with learners during progress reviews to monitor their understanding and experience. During the programme Central Training will provide learners, employers and education providers with opportunities to comment on how we manage our training programmes and to suggest any changes that might be beneficial.

We ask that all partners develop an environment where equality, fairness, security and respect are an integral part of the training programme. As a learner you need to support the work being done by your employer and this will enable everyone to perform to the best of their ability.
